Routine & Acute GP Consultations

GP consultations are needed to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe a new medicine, monitor an ongoing prescription or order a blood test.
It is helpful to give some brief details when booking as our reception staff can arrange the most appropriate appointment for you.
Requesting Your Appointment
Please note a GP surgery receptionist is not simply someone who answers the phone - they are specially trained to help you get the most appropriate treatment as fast as possible. In order to do this, they may need to ask you questions about why you need to see a doctor.
-
When an appointment is for a specialised procedure please specify when making the appointment.
-
Where possible, urgent cases will be seen on the day, but we may not be able to offer a choice of doctor or time.
-
Generally, it is only possible to discuss one medical issue during your doctor's consultation. Patients with more than one issue to discuss may be asked to book a further appointment at a later date.
